Yes - that’s what Every Shot Counts does. The app uses your iPhone camera and an on-device AI model to detect the ball and the hoop and follow your shot arcs while you train. You shoot; it keeps score.

No. ESC is a shot tracker without sensors - no wearables, nothing attached to the ball or rim. You need an iPhone running iOS 18 or later, a hoop, and a spot to prop up your phone. A guided setup in the app helps you position the camera.

ESC is currently iPhone-only (iOS 18+). The app is in beta and distributed through TestFlight - after you sign up and choose a plan, we redirect you to TestFlight to download it.

Early access, with a perk: while we are in beta, testers get the full app free until launch. You get everything while it is still evolving, and your feedback shapes it.

Nothing. The ESC App Testing plan is free until launch - no card is collected, and you can leave whenever you like. Paid athlete plans arrive at launch, and we will tell you before anything is ever charged. The one exception is Coach Jasen’s in-person class plan, which is billed monthly from the start.

ESC is built for players putting in work on their own. If you’re signing up on behalf of your kid, you’ll create their athlete account during signup, and they’ll use it to log in to the app.

Nothing. Coaches use ESC free. Your players subscribe individually and connect with you in the app, and you see their completed drills and stats.

It is for players enrolled in Coach Jasen’s in-person classes - it covers your class training and includes full ESC app access. It is billed monthly and, unlike the beta testing plan, it is a paid plan from day one.
